No Cooking For Us Today😞😞

Today at Tech our teacher was away so we had a substitute. We were given a worksheet which had a word find! Mary, Tyron, Sosiua and I were working on the word find together.

Towards the end of everyone finishing the word find, we had a race to see who could locate the last word. In the end Tyron was the winner. I was so close!

My Weekend!

Throughout the weekend I read a lot of comics on an app called Webtoon. I read a comic called I Love Yoo, I also read a comic called Age Matters. I Love Yoo is a comic created by a person named Quimchee. There are 15 main characters , a few of them go by the name of Shin-Ae, Yeong-Gi (Nol), Kouske, Dieter and Sang-Chul...the list goes on! It was really interesting to read and watch how the comics were developing, I can't wait to read more!!

Tennis!!

On Tuesday morning Room 12 had tennis with Coach Pete. We got into partners and hit the ball back and forth, trying to slow our hits down and control where the ball is going to go. It was really fun!

Today was the annual Manaiakalani Film Festival at Sylvia Park.

We left school around 10:30 and arrived at Sylvia Park around 10:45. We were seated in Cinema 3 with Pt. England, Panmure Bridge School, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa, Glen Innes and Tamaki College.

I was excited to watch all the different films made by all the different schools, but most of all I was
excited to watch the films that were made by us, Ruapotaka School!

My favourite film that was produced by another school was called Girls Don't Fart by Pt. England School. It was hilarious!!

This was the film Room 12 made and watched at the film festival!
