The Quake That Shook New Zealand

This information report was for our homework. We had to write about what happened to New Zealand..... On Monday the 14th of November 2016.....

A 7.5 earthquake struck Wellington, Kaikoura and Christchurch. The magnitude earthquake struck at 12:02am, other towns and cities felt the earthquake. The magnitude earthquake was then followed by over a dozen of aftershocks across the country including two 6.2 quakes in Kaikoura.
There was a warning about a tsunami and there are a number of mass evacuations taking place from a number of coastal areas on the east coast of New  Zealand.

Some people have been injured and some died but we do not know the number of people that are dead or injured.

Talofa Lava Leanah,
It's really sad that some people got injured or even worst died. How did you find out all this information?

Hi Leanah, I really like how you have done some research about the earthquake using Kiwikids News and then written your report in your own words. Ka pai!
