Hi Leanah,
I didn't realise that there were SO many people living in England. Fifty-five million people is huge, especially when you consider that New Zealand has less than 5 million people!
Like you, I also love a nice English accent. There are a number of different English accents but I really like the way that many of the English speak. They can make things sound so dainty and sophisticated. They can also speak with an accent that makes it hard to understand anything that they have said!
When I was younger I lived in England for a few years and I really struggled, for the first few months, to understand what anyone was saying. They spoke so much more quickly than my family and friends spoke in Canada. Fortunately, I soon got used to it and I could understand almost everything that they said :)
Wishing you and your family a wonderful start to 2017. I'm looking forward to seeing you back online soon!
Cheers,
Rachel :)
